Annual Art Show and Auction

| On Tuesday, February 28, 2012, the Santee School District Foundation will host its annual Art Show and Auction. The Art Show and Auction highlights student creativity and art production and raises monies to support the Arts Attack program taught at each school site. The vening spotlights spectacular art by children that includes sculpture, painting, and design (see above photo gallery for samples!) Not only are individual art projects on display and available for purchase, but each school joins together to produce a unique art project designed and made by students for auction. Last year's treasures included a table, wind chimes, murals, and a quilt. This year's theme, "Under the Sea" is sure to produce some excellent projects depicting sea life and waterscapes.
