Pepper Drive School now has access to all quizzes that are available for Accelerated Reader. To view a PDF file that shows all middle and lower interest level books, suitable for first through eighth grade students click AR Book list.
This is a great tool for students and parents to perform searches for AR Quizzes from home or public libraries. This open web-site allows them to search the entire AR quiz database. Searches can be refined by topics of interest, book levels, and interest levels. This site is completely free and open to the public.
Please be aware that this search tool includes books for all levels of readers. Some books may contain content inappropriate for your child, and this should be taken into consideration when purchasing books or going to the public library. All AR books at Pepper Drive have been screened for appropriateness already.
Students begin by taking the STAR test on the computer. With the results from the test, teachers assign a book level range for each student. Accelerated Reader books are color coded with a sticker to show the level of the book. Levels are listed below:
