Santee School District parents:
The Santee School District Foundation wishes to welcome you to the 2017-18 year! Our main fundraising events this year will be
What we are looking for from you is for you to attend our events, bring your family and/or your business, and if you have or are aware of a business that may mutually benefit through advertising or donations that you direct them to us. We often need volunteers for the Aloha 5K and Golf Tournament, and welcome you to consider that as well, for yourself or a teen you know. If you are looking to donate personally to the Santee community, we hope that you consider the Foundation, and thank you to those who have done so already.
Each year, the Foundation provides approximately $15,000 per year for the coordination and the purchase of art supplies for the Arts Attack program.
In 2016-17 school year, the Foundation provided school grants totaling $10,500 for special projects or programs that supported robotics and coding, technology, art, science, literacy, or physical education materials and resources at every school.
An additional $15,000 in grants were awarded to projects designed by teachers which included a design engineering program and equipment for PRIDE Academy, equipment to integrate music and movement into academics and play for Chet F. Harritt’s STEAM program, materials to develop an art and masters curriculum at Carlton Oaks, and materials to enhance and expand the student outdoor learning environment for scientific research and testing at Sycamore Canyon.

Let’s show our school spirit and wear Sycamore Canyon apparel or green every Friday!!!
Any class wearing green with an average of 50% or more will get their teachers name submitted in a drawing. At the end of the month we will pick a class to win a prize.
Thank you for helping make Sycamore Canyon an amazing place to learn.
