Parent Survey:  PRIDE Academy needs you to complete an online survey to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school. Your participation is voluntary, but extremely important. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement. If you have more than one child at this school, you will only need to complete one survey. Please fill out just one survey about the school using your oldest child as a reference. Access the survey using the following URL:  surveys.wested.org/csps/KY642AZ

Progress Reports:  Trimester 3 Progress Reports will go home next week between April 16th-20th.  Please contact your child’s teacher if you have questions or need clarification.

Parking Lot Construction: The 10 Electric Car Charging Spaces, provided by SDG&E, were installed over Spring Break.  This is an amazing opportunity for teachers, families, and the PRIDE Academy community to use a renewable resource.  These spaces are not reserved and can still be used as regular parking spaces, when needed.

PRIDE Academy Spring Fling:  PRIDE Academy's annual Spring Fling Festival is back on April 28th. Pre-sale tickets are now available. Take advantage of a discount on lunch and wristbands for games and events for the whole family.  Just $8 for an unlimited games wristband and $3 for two slices of pizza, fruit and bottled water.  All proceeds from this event will be used to create a way for our students to benefit from music enrichment.  Invite your family and neighbors for a fun day of games, raffles and auction, food, vendors, and community!  The event runs from 11:00am-2:00pm.  Don't miss it!

Santee School District Foundation Aloha 5K Run/Walk: The annual Santee School District Foundation Aloha 5K is on April 21st.  Please visit the foundation’s website for more information. https://santeefoundation.net/santee-aloha-5k-fun-run-and-walk/

Staff Appreciation Week:  This year’s staff will be honored the week of May 7th- 11th.

    3. “Is your work still challenging/rewarding to you?”
    4. “If you could change one thing about your day, what would it be?”
    5. “I thought of you today when…..”
    6. “Have you learned anything new lately?”
    7. “How are you feeling about….?”
    8. “What were the best and worst parts of your day?”
    9. “What’s something you wish we could do together?”

    Thank you!
