There is no maximum allowable length for link text. For practical purposes, the link need to be long enough to convey the purpose of the link.Example:
Link that says "Click here to access today's weather forecast" can be shorten to "Today's Weather"Empty Link and Underline Word/SentenceLinks should not be empty. They must always contain text or images with alternative text (alt tag). An empty link can be very confusing for keyboard and screen reader users.Do Not use Underline Word or Sentence if there is not a link. Screen readers looks at underlined sentences as a link.
