I was born in Southern California but at the age of 5, my family moved to Germany where my parents taught children of Military personnel. We spent time in Japan, the Philipines, then back to Germany where I graduated from Frankfurt American High School My family spent vacations camping in almost every country in Europe. My senior class trip was to Tunisia, Africa! For 5 years, right after High School, I was a Dental Technician stationed in Brawdy, Wales, then an instructor in San Diego at the Naval Class "A" school for Dental Technicians. I met my husband in the Navy and this December, we will celebrate 34 years of marriage.
I'm a graduate of SDSU and earned my Masters at USIU. I've been teaching 30 years, all at Carlton Oaks!

My favorite movies are, "Love Actually" and "Singing in the Rain." The last movie I saw was, "Wonder Woman" and it was great. I also enjoy a good scary movie, will be seeing, "Annabel" soon. My favorite books are, "Gone With the Wind" and, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn."
I love most food, especially Mexican and Chinese. My favorite drive through is Starbucks and my favorite dessert is Carrot Cake!
I truly love teaching, especially since I get to teach my favorite subjects, Science and Drama. I'm looking forward to getting to know all the kids and I consider myself one of the luckiest people to "work" at something I love to do!
