Dear Pepper Drive Middle School Parent or Guardian,
This letter is to inform you about an exciting club on campus called Club Live. The Club Live program focuses on fostering student leadership skills, organizing school activities and having fun in a positive way with peers. Club meetings may include leadership activities, school community service projects and social action on causes important to youth.
Club Live provides youth the opportunity to create, plan and implement their own activities with the assistance of caring adult leaders. It provides the teaching of such skills as: goal setting, communication, making positive choices and problem solving. Young people are given the opportunity to contribute to their schools and community through service and are provided a safe place to interact with other youth and adults.
The idea is simple; have fun while benefiting the school community with a positive message that promotes a healthy, active and drug-free outlook on life.
Club Live will meet on Tuesdays in Room 105 during middle school lunch. Our first club meeting will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. There is no fee to join Club Live.
This is a wonderful leadership opportunity for your child. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone or email. If you would like your child to be a part of Club Live, please have them ask Mr. Gigliotti for a consent form and have them return it with parent signature to myself, their teacher or the school front office.
