Seesaw is a type of learning management system. It is an easy to use tool for teachers to share resources with students. Students may demonstrate knowledge through text, drawings, photos, and/or self-recorded videos. Seesaw also includes a family portal, through which parents can see student work.

Below you will find a scrollable document containing a wealth of information to help you set up your Seesaw classroom. Scroll until you find the "Remote Learning for Teachers New to Seesaw" link and click it to begin setting up your account.

We are offering optional “live” online trainings during the week of April 27 - May 1 for those of you wanting extra support in using Google Classroom's basic features, as well as some intermediate level sessions. However, it is important that you first go through the online resources provided above to create your Seesaw class BEFORE these sessions. Without this, you will not be able to participate in the activities during the session. To find dates/times for these sessions, click the "Calendar of Live Webinars" link on the left hand side of this page.

If you run into trouble using this resource, feel free to contact: Dan Prouty (daniel.prouty@santeesd.net) or the Curriculum Resource Teachers (curriculumresourceteachers@santeesd.net).
