• Settings and Adjustments for the iPads

    From time to time, settings have to be adjusted to help the iPads run smoothly.  We will continue to add to this resource page as more tips become available.

     

    Safari Settings (Fixes for website loading issues)

    Some of the settings in iOS 13 need to be adjusted to ensure that the curriculum softwares load correctly.

    Open the Settings app then:

    • Scroll down to Safari and tap on it
    • Scroll down and set the following:
    • OFF – “Block Pop”
    • OFF – “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
    • Scroll to the bottom and select "Advanced"
    • Select "Experimental Features"
    • Scroll to the bottom and turm off:
    • OFF – “Disable Web SQL”

    Safari Close Tabs (Fixes for Slow Loading issues)

    Open the Safari app then:

    • Look for the icon at the top right-hand side of the screen that looks like 2 pieces of paper.
    • Hold down on the icon that looks like 2 pieces of paper. 
    • Select "Close all XX tabs"
    • When it asks if you are sure, select "Close all XX tabs"

    Safari Clear Cache (Fixes for Slow Loading issues)

    Open the Settings app then:

    • Scroll down to Safari and tap on it
    • Scroll down and set the following:
    • At the top select "Website Data"
    • Scroll down to the bottom and select "Remove all Website Data"
