About Mrs. ElliottWelcome to my website! My name is Teresa Elliott and I have been teaching in the Santee School District for over twenty years. Before coming to Santee I taught Special Education. I have worked with hearing impaired students and with severely handicapped students. I have a Master's Degree in reading and educational technology.I have also been trained in the Writer's Workshop methods at Columbia University Teacher's College in New York City. I am a positive and energetic person, in fact, you will probably see me during the course of the school year on one of my daily 4 mile walks. I am married to a fellow (Substitute) Santee teacher (Mr. Rick Elliott) and together we have one son, Randy. Randy currently works at KFMB-FM radio. We have two small pooches that protect us from NOTHING!! hahaha. In our space time we love to camp, hike, fish, travel and host exchange students. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families each year and many remain friends for life. I live in the Santee community and not only am I a teacher in the school district, but I am a neighbor.
