Reminder:Thursday, Oct. 12th is our first fieldtrip to Oma's Pumpkin Patch in Lakeside. Permission slips went home on Sept. 27th. If you want to chaperone, you need to have a volunteer form filled out along with a copy of your driver's license turned in to the office no later than Mon. Oct. 2nd Also, let me know if you are willing to chaperone so I can get you on my list...it's first come, first served. I already have 10 parents signed up. Please send in $ 5 in cash only no later than Oct. 4th. Please send in an extra $4 if you are chaperoning. Unless you purchase a cafeteria sack lunch then please pack a sack lunch with a disposable drink on the day of the trip. I might (still thinking about it depending on how much I get done during the day) begin assessments after school starting the week of Oct. 23rd and continuing until the week before conferences. I will be keeping either 1 or 2 students after school from Mon. through Thurs. You don't need to be there with your child. It should take about a half hour. Some students will need to be tested in reading and that will take more time. Please call me if you have any questions.
October 31st: Parade and party in our classroom
Kindergarten Parade : Please have your child wear their regular clothes underneath their costume and/or bring a bag to put your regular clothes and later costume in. They will come to school in their costume. Please remember your food item by Mon. 10/30 or if it is a baked item on Tues.. Oct. 31st( morning of the party). Please let me know if you are able to help during the activites and/or party in our room. I will need 4 or more parents that day:) I have Leah's mom, James' mom and Bentleigh's mom so far.Thank you to our volunteers!
