Everyone A Reader is a program designed and overseen by the San Diego County Office of Education and has proven to be a highly successful and positive way of supporting children in the process of learning to read. 

   Trained volunteer reading tutors will work with a child for 15 minutes a day, three or four times a week.  Tutors reinforce classroom reading strategies as students practice in a one-to-one, non-threatening environment.  During these sessions students will increase self-confidence and develop independence.
