• Safety / Facilities Committee
    In July 2011, the District's Safety Committee and Facilities Committee merged.  The charge of the Safety / Facilities Committee is to review safety concerns and facility issues in the District. The committee will provide an annual presentation to the Board of Education of committee recommendations to resolve potential safety issues. Those safety issues which require immediate action will be brought forth for action as needed.  The committee consists of Board-appointed community members,  the District's architect, key facilities coordinators from the San Diego County Office of Education, Board members, District administrators, teachers, and classified employees including representatives from SAA, STA, and CSEA.  Charles Myers, Director of Transportation and Christina Becker, Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities, will co-chair the Committee.   The Safety / Facilities Committee meets three times a year at the Charles E. Skidmore Administration Center located at 9625 Cuyamaca Street, Santee, CA 92071 (unless otherwise noted).
