My big catch in Maine!
My name is Lisa Sagat. The first two years of my teaching career began in the South Bay Union School District.  I took a five year break to stay home with my two young children.  After that time, I taught a half-day Kindergarten for 10 years at St. Andrew's Day School in La Mesa.   I am currently in my 15th year of teaching in the Santee School District, where the last 13 years have been here at wonderful Sycamore Canyon.
La Mesa, California is my birth place and where I grew up.  I now live in El Cajon with my husband, Bob. I have two grown children, Allison and Ricky.
In my spare time, I love to be outside.  Kayaking, swimming, hiking, walking my German Shepherd, and working in the garden are some of my favorite activities.  I also enjoy drawing and painting, although that tends to be something I do while on vacation.  My favorite day of the week is Sunday because that is the day I spend with all my family.
It has been a joy being at Sycamore Canyon!  I look forward to many more wonderful years with your students!
