Carlton Oaks School proudly announces the addition of Mrs. Kristin Baranski as the Principal for the 2012-2013 school year. Kristin has served as Director of Educational Services for the Santee School District and has held a variety of positions at the district office for the past eight years. Prior to her District office work, she served as the Principal at Chet F. Harritt School, began her administrative career as a Vice Principal at Chet F. Harritt, Hill Creek, and Rio Seco Schools, and she was a junior high language arts teacher in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Kristin holds a Master's of Education degree from National-Louis University in Wheaton, Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She enjoys spending time with her husband (Mike) and three children (Erik, Kate, and Keira) and in her "spare" time she loves to exercise, maintain her lawn, and read.
