I hope the new year finds all of you rested and looking forward to the exciting things that are in store for us all this year. Speaking of exciting things, our calendar is filling up at the PRIDE Academy. Looking forward to the months ahead, our 6th graders will be going off to camp this month and the PTA will be hosting a Science Night. In the month of February the entire school will be participating in Jump Rope For Heart, Read Across America and the PTA will be kicking off their See's Candy Fundraiser. With the end of the second trimester in March, students need to continue to work hard to maintain those standards of excellence that they began the school year with.
On another note, attendance is more important than ever to your student's success in school. This time of year can be particularly difficult with cold season upon us. Please take extra precautions to keep your entire family healthy. Many times, parents are so busy taking care of their children,that they tend to forget about themselves. We want you healthy too!
My wish for all our PRIDE families in the new year is 365 chances to love, laugh, and live your best year yet.
