• I grew up in Santee where I attended Cajon Park, Pepper Drive, and Santana High School.  After graduating from Santana I went to San Diego State University for my degree and Point Loma Nazarene for my credential.  I did some of my student teaching at Pepper Drive and the next year got a job at Sycamore Canyon teaching 3rd grade.  I was at Sycamore Canyon for 7 years and taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade.  In 2003 I moved to Carlton Hills and taught a 4/5 combo.  The next year I was moved to Junior High and taught 7th grade Science and 8th grade Algebra.  In 2013 are numbers went down I taught a 6th grade.  In 2014 I was back in the Junior High teaching 6th and 7th grade Math and Science.  I love working with students!  I currently live in Santee and enjoy teaching in the town that I grew up in.

You see my family above.  My husband David and I have two sons named Joey and Jacob.  Joey is our first child and he is the sweetest boy ever.  He is Autistic and goes to school at Cajon Park in their Special education program.  Jacob is our second child and he also goes to Cajon Park so that the boys are at the same school.  Jacob likes to test the limits!

I have classroom animals, turtles and frogs.  At home we have a bird named Dizzy and a dog named Trigger.

In 2007 we got to go to Tony Gwynn's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  It was amazing and I will never forget it.  We then went to Washington D.C. which was almost as amazing.  I had never been to Washington D.C. and really being with my family as I enjoyed seeing the things I had learned about in school all those years.
