Registration for Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten for all schools in the Santee School District is scheduled to begin March 11, 2013. New Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before October 1, 2013. Students turning 5 between October 2, 2013 and December 2, 2013 are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten. Parents are encouraged to register Kindergarten-age children at this time. Registration for all schools in the Santee School District is held at the Educational Resource Center located at 9619 Cuyamaca Street in Santee. Registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. Students must be registered by July 30, 2013 to be guaranteed a spot at their school of residence. If you have questions regarding registration, please call Educational Services at 258-2358 or 258-2360. The following information is necessary for registration: 1. Child’s birth certificate 2. Immunization records 3. Registration Form (download .pdf form to save time) Forma de Registro (Spanish Version) 4. Social Security Card Number 5. Emergency phone numbers for the school office 6. Proof of Residency California regulations require that parents provide a written immunization record. Children will not be registered nor will they be put on any waiting list if their immunizations are not complete.
