Arts Attack in Action
On February 28th, the Santee School District Foundation held their 3rd annual Art Show and Auction. Student art was submitted from every school. Art projects were purchased through direct sales, silent auction, and live auction. Projects ranged from clay sculptures, watercolor pictures, and painted tiles, to a wood constucted wishing well. Many of the collaborative student projects were made through the Arts Attack program. Arts Attack is an art appreciation and interactive demonstration curriculum that is provided through donations from the Santee School District Foundation and presented in classrooms by an outstanding team of volunteers. All funds raised at the Art Show and Auction go back into the classroon through the Arts Attack program. Many thanks to all of the volunteers that made this year's Art Show and Auction fun, exciting, and very successful.
