Vacancy and Provisional Appointment to the Governing Board of Santee School District (Education Code § 5092)

On August 1, 2024, a vacancy arose on the Santee School District Governing Board - Seat 5, due to the resignation of Mr. Ken Fox.
At a special meeting held on September 10, 2024, the Governing Board voted to provisionally appoint Dr. Timothy Glover to fill Seat 5. Unless a petition calling for a special election pursuant to California Education Code section 5091 is filed in the Office of the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools within thirty (30) days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
