Community Collaborative Cultural Citizen Advisory Committee (CCCCAC)

The Community Collaborative Cultural Citizen Advisory Committee (CCCCAC) will focus on providing input to district leadership and the Board of Education on matters affecting the schools and the district by working together to improve the quality of education for all students. The membership of citizen advisory committees should reflect the diversity of the community and represent a diversity of viewpoints; members include school site personnel, district level personnel, and parents.

Vision:
Increase sense of safety, belonging, and school connectedness within the Santee School District community.

Mission:

  • Improve student learning and demonstrate annual growth in academic achievement in all content areas.
  • Support the social and emotional well-being of students and promote positive and inclusive classroom environments.
  • Develop and sustain campus environments in which parents and community members are welcomed and their participation is valued and encouraged.

Focus Groups
Focus Groups are formed to plan and implement the activities of the Citizen Advisory Committee to increase sense of safety, belonging, and school connectedness within the Santee School District community. Focus Group members also provide input on matters affecting the schools and the district to the Citizen Advisory Committee Leadership Team and work together to improve the quality of education for all students.
