Welcome to the Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Learning home page. The goal of our department is to provide leadership and support in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the district's curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional learning.
During the 2021-2022 school year our middle school will be piloting two Next Generation Science Programs. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with our pilot team as we dive deeper into the NGSS crosscutting concepts and science and engineering practices.
We know the past year and a half has been a challenging one for our students, families and staff. As we enter the 2021-2022 school year our goal is to meet each student where they are. We will build on what they can do, and ensure we support their social-emotional well being, as well as their academics.
Just like our students, we are lifelong learners. We encourage each of you to share resources and great ideas with our department throughout the year. We look forward to visiting school sites to see the incredible learning taking place.
