Santee Elementary School District schools serve students and families throughout the community. As school facilities age, roofs, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning systems, safety equipment and other essential infrastructure require repair or replacement.
The District has placed a $30 million general obligation bond measure on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot. The measure would provide funding for repairs and improvements at our local elementary schools while extending, but not increasing, the current tax rate.

Public Town Hall Meeting
Join Santee School District staff for a Measure BB Town Hall on Thursday, October 8, from 6–7 p.m. at the Cajon Park Multipurpose Room. Attend to learn more about the bond, planned projects and funding, and get answers to your questions. This meeting will be recorded and posted on this page for those who are unable to make it in person.
Submit Your Measure BB Questions: Have a question about Measure BB? Submit them before the event! Questions may be about proposed projects, funding, the tax rate, taxpayer protections, or other aspects of the bond.
