The Santee School District Board of Education met at 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Meeting highlights included:
Discussion and/or Action Items
- The Board approved amendments to employment contracts for the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents.
- The Board approved the Memorandum of Understanding with Jewish Family Services to offer the Positive Parenting Seminar series for free to our families. This is a three-part parenting seminar series held during the 2025-2026 school year.
Board Policies and Bylaws
- The Board approved Revised Board Policy (BP) 6159 – Individualized Education Program. Policy reviewed in conjunction with the accompanying administrative regulation and updated for technical revisions, including changing the term "students with disabilities" to "students with exceptional needs".
