Dear Santee School District Families,
Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! I hope you and your family had the opportunity to rest, recharge, and create wonderful memories together this summer. While many of our students were enjoying a well-deserved break, our
schools remained busy providing Extended School Year services for students with disabilities, offering Expanded Learning Program summer camps, preparing our campuses, and welcoming new staff members who are excited to serve our students.
To our families who are new to the Santee School District community—welcome! We are so glad you are here. Our district is committed to creating schools where every student and every family feels welcomed, valued, and connected. We know that strong partnerships between home and school help students thrive, and we look forward to getting to know you throughout the year.
This year, we are proud to embrace a new district theme: Collaborate, Cultivate, and Champion. These three words reflect the values that guide our work and the partnership we share with our families.

As we begin this new school year, I invite you to think about the important role you play in your child's educational journey. Together, we can create meaningful learning experiences, build lasting relationships, and help every student feel safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best.
