Committee Charge:
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) provides input on student learning programs and services and the Local Control Accountability (LCAP) for the Board of Education.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reviews and discusses the following items to develop background knowledge:
- Reviews data points on student achievement and other performance indicators; discusses implications and next steps
- Discusses issues that affect and promote student learning and well-being
- Reviews and discusses the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), offers suggestions as part of the stakeholder input process, and provides feedback on the draft LCAP
- Reviews, discusses, and provides feedback on the Local Educational Agency (LEA) Plan
- Required committee per California Education Code

2024-2025 Meeting Dates
DAC meeting are typically the second Thursday of each month, in the Educational Services Department, 9619 Cuyamaca, Santee.
Based on committee input, the new meeting time is 5:00 pm.
*In lieu of the March 2025 meeting, committee members are encouraged to attend the LCAP Annual Review. More information to follow.
