Welcome to Grant Services!
Our Grant Services team is dedicated to expanding opportunities for students by seeking, securing, and managing grant funding. We pursue local, state, and national grants to support innovative programs, enrich classroom learning, and enhance student support services. Through these efforts, we help bring additional resources into our schools to support student success, creativity, and growth.
Grant Services collaborates with multiple departments and directors to support grants that enhance student wellness, school safety, and educational opportunities. The Grant Services Coordinator assists with identifying funding opportunities, grant writing, technical assistance, and compliance support alongside Project Directors.
Some grants supported include:
- School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) Grant
- Tobacco-Use Prevention Education (TUPE)
- Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Construction Grant
- Capacity Grant
- Bridge Grant
Additional grant opportunities are pursued throughout the year based on district and student needs.
Grant Services also oversees specialized reimbursement programs that help maximize district funding and sustain student support services, including:
- LEA BOP (Local Educational Agency Billing Option Program)
- SMAA (School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities)
- CYBHI (Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative)
These programs help the district recover eligible funding for services provided to students and families while ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
Through strategic funding and reimbursement efforts, Grant Services helps expand student supports, strengthen educational programs, and increase access to resources across the district.
