Middle School Sports Leagues
We’re excited to announce the launch of Santee School District Sports Leagues for students in grades 6–8! Each school will form a co-ed team and compete against other district schools during the school year.
Sports Offered
- Fall: Basketball (September 16 - November 6)
- Winter: Soccer (December 9 - February 5)
- Spring: Flag Football (dates TBD)
How It Works
- Coaches: Santee School District staff and verified volunteers.
- Practices: Held every Tuesday on campus after dismissal.
- Games: Played on Thursday each week. Students will be bussed from their school after dismissal to the game location. Families are responsible for pick-up at the game site.
- Who Can Join: Open to all Santee School District students in grades 6–8. You do not need to be enrolled in ELP to participate.
Soccer Registration Opens Nov. 4
Registration opens Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. Register through EZChildTrack.
- Cost: $25 registration fee per student, per season (includes a team T-shirt/jersey). A $55 program fee also applies; however, students who qualify for ELOP will only be responsible for the $25 registration fee.
- Registrations Opens: Tuesday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. Registration is through EZChildTrack; if you do not already have an account, you will be asked to create one.
- Registration Closes: Once all spots are filled (first come, first served).
- Acceptance Info Sent: November 14
Season Information
- First Practice: Tuesday, December 9
- Season Ends/Last Game: Thursday, February 5
- Winter Break: There will be no games or practices during winter break.
- Students must provide their own cleats and shin guards; black shorts are required on game days.
- A jersey is included with the registration fee—please enter your player’s correct size when registering. Sample jersey sizes will be available at the District Office for sizing; families will need to come in to try them on. Once your application is approved, we will submit all jersey orders to our apparel distributor.
