State Preschool Program
Our preschool registration for the 22-23 school year is now closed.
Preschool Registration for 23-24
Step 1:
Please complete the State Preschool Eligibility Survey below to find out if your child is pre-qualified. **In order to qualify, your child must turn 3 by December 1, 2023**

Step 2:
Please check your email!
The Preschool Department will notify you by email if your child is pre-qualified for the State Preschool Program based on the completed eligibility survey. Please review the requirements tab for age, income, toilet training, residency and immunization requirements.
In the email, you will receive instructions on how to complete the online registration. There will be State documents attached to the email that are required to be completed and signed by the parent/guardian. If you received the email and do not have access to a printer, please contact the preschool registrar at 619-258-2360 or [email protected] to pick up a preschool packet.
Please read the parent registration checklist page thoroughly. This will ensure you have all the required documentation in hand.

Make an appointment!

Contact the preschool registrar at 619-258-2360 or [email protected] to set up an appointment to turn in all documentation, answer any questions, and verify supporting income verification documentation. Appointments will begin after April 3rd.
Step 4:
Check your email!
You will be notified by email that your child is fully qualified for the State Preschool Program. Children will be enrolled in classes by specific program priorities.
Step 5:
Check your email!
In July, you will be notified by email if your child will be offered a spot in our program for the 23-24 school year. You will be asked to stop by the Educational Resource building to sign the Application for Services form.
