Expanded Learning Programs Before/After School

We offer year round before and after school programs operating at eights schools in the District from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ELP is a fee-based program for Santee School District students, grades TK-8. Registration is open throughout the school year. Please review the information below on how to register, and check the requirements below to see if you are eligible to receive FREE care.

ELP offers exciting curriculum and enrichment opportunities to keep your kids learning, moving, and engaged. New programs this year include a soccer league and a dance program/club. Visit the ELP Curriculum page for more information. 

ELP at PRIDE Academy
The ELP at PRIDE Academy Program is available at PRIDE Academy at Prospect Avenue only. This enrichment program is State funded and abides by a number of attendance guidelines in order to operate. Visit the ELP at PRIDE Academy webpage for more information.

2026-2027 Before/After School Enrollment Update

Enrollment for the 2026–2027 Expanded Learning Program is now complete. Families who have not received an enrollment notification will remain on the waitlist. Should a space become available during the school year, families will be contacted in waitlist order based on our established enrollment priorities.

We understand that before- and after-school care is an important resource for our families, and we appreciate your patience throughout the enrollment process. While enrollment demand continues to exceed available space at some sites, we remain committed to serving as many students as possible and will continue to offer openings as they become available.
